HC Deb 29 June 1911 vol 27 cc571-2
Mr. BOOTH

Might I ask your guidance, Sir, with regard to a private Bill? I am in a position of considerable difficulty. I refer to the St. Mary's Rectory (Radcliffe) Bill. I am unable to find who is the promoter. I am anxious to address a question to someone as to when it will be taken, and I do not know to whom to apply?

Mr. SPEAKER

I am afraid I cannot help the hon. Member as to the promoter, nor would it be of any use. The promoters propose, but the Chairman of Ways and Means disposes. The Chairman of Ways and Means can tell him when the Bill will be taken, as he will have to fix the time for taking it.
