asked how many completed destroyers not launched more than ten years there were in the British and German Fleets respectively, on 31st March, 1904, and on 31st March, 1911?

It should be observed that between the dates named thirty-six boats in addition were built, of which the first batch were originally termed "Coastal Destroyers." This designation, however, was altered to that of Torpedo Boat—new type—by which they are now known.
