HC Deb 17 July 1911 vol 28 cc681-2
Mr. NEWMAN

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will state how many copies of Form IV. have been now distributed in Ireland; whether these forms are being served indiscriminately on owners of urban and rural hereditaments or only on certain selected properties in the neighbourhoods of Dublin, Belfast, and Cork; and whether any provisional valuations have been served and agreed on as the result of such issue?

Mr. HOBHOUSE

About 20,000 copies of the Form have been sent out, chiefly to owners of property in urban districts, as the names of the owners are ascertained. No provisional valuations have yet been issued.
