HC Deb 17 July 1911 vol 28 c676
Mr. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

asked what is the number of men on active service who in the year 1909 were provided with treatment for tuberculosis in sanatoria; and whether there is now any provision made for treatment of men on active service in sanatoria, and what, if any, deductions from pay would be made if such treatment were given?

Mr. McKENNA

There is no provision for the treatment in sanatoria of men on the active list of the Royal Navy who are suffering from tuberculosis, and so far as is known no men on active service were treated in such sanatoria in 1909.
