§ Colonel SEELYInquiry has been made and the general officer commanding-in-chief reports that the garden party was not understood to be a political meeting as defined by the Territorial Force Regulations. Paragraph 225 of the Territorial Force Regulations explicitly prohibits military bands from playing at any political meeting or demonstration.
