HC Deb 05 July 1911 vol 27 c1124
Dr. CHAPPLE

asked the Lord Advocate whether, in view of the fact that the teachers' superannuation scheme has been postponed because of the interposition of another beneficent scheme, not specially applicable to Scotland and excluding teachers from is scope, he will consider the advisability of inserting such a date in Clause 4 of the draft scheme dealing with the date of commencement as would protect Scottish teachers from the effect, that postponement would otherwise entail and secure to them the full advantage that the Act of 1908 entitled them to expect?

Mr. URE

The matter will be duly considered should occasion for such action, arise.
