§ Mr. CHARLES BATHURST
asked whether representations have been made to the Argentine Government with the object of removing the embargo placed upon the importation of British livestock 1110 in consequence of the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in Surrey in March last, which was immediately stamped out by prompt action on the part of the Board of Agriculture, and, if so, with what result?
Mr. McKINNON WOOD
The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The decision of the Argentine Government has not yet been made known.
