§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEThe preparation of such a statement would be a work of considerable magnitude, and would take some time to compile. Even then it could only be a conjectural estimate.
§ Sir P. MAGNUSWill it be possible to obtain that conjectural estimate? Will the right hon. Gentleman consult the President of the Board of Trade, as these statistics would be very valuable indeed in the discussion of the Bill?
§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEThey do not arise on anything in the Bill, but if hon. Members opposite are anxious to get information, subject of course, to the warning that it must necessarily be conjectural, I shall be very glad to communicate with my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade to see what information he can give.
