§ Mr. HAYDENasked the Chief Secretary whether he was aware that the Athlone Rural District Council had passed a resolution, which had been forwarded to the 2063 Congested Districts Board, asking for the purchase by that Board of the Edwin Hughes estate, situated near Athlone, setting forth also that there were several families whose holdings were completely flooded; and whether the Board would send an inspector to this estate on an early date?
§ Mr. BIRRELLA copy of the resolution referred to has been received by the Congested Districts Board. The Board communicated with the owner asking if he were willing to sell his estate, but did not receive a reply. They do not propose at present to send an inspector to the estate.
