HC Deb 20 February 1911 vol 21 c1537
Mr. NORTON GRIFFITHS

asked the Prime Minister if he will consider the advisability of appointing a special committee representing every section of this House for the purpose of collecting evidence as to the manner in which we can improve and strengthen our relations with the self-governing dominions; and whether Imperial representation, either by the creation of a permanent Imperial council or some other means, may be possible and provide for Imperial representation in Imperial affairs?

The PRIME MINISTER

I see no sufficient reason for the appointment of such a committee.
