§ Mr. LANSBURYasked whether he proposes to issue a circular informing local authorities that, in the case of reasonable expenditure out of the rates on festivities in connection with the forthcoming Coronation, any surcharge by the Local Government auditors would be remitted by him under the powers conferred upon him?
§ Mr. BURNSI propose to issue an Order in accordance with the precedent of the year 1902 sanctioning reasonable expenditure by local authorities in connection with the public local celebration of the Coronation of His Majesty the King.
