HC Deb 15 February 1911 vol 21 cc1042-3
Viscount WOLMER

asked the Home Secretary whether the post vacated by David Davies is still vacant, and, if so, whether it is his intention to supply the owner of the farm with the services of another person, or to make any other compensation to him.

Mr. CHURCHILL

I have no information on the first point. On the second, the answer is in the negative; but I would ask the Noble Lord whether he will not endeavour in the future to frame his questions on this subject in such a way as to make an attack upon me without wasting satire upon the processes by which convicts are aided on discharge?

Lord HUGH CECIL

May I ask the right hon. Gentleman whether it is any part of his duty to admonish Members of Parliament?

Mr. LONSDALE

I desire to ask the right hon. Gentleman whether he will give an undertaking not to willingly visit Dartmoor in the future?
