HC Deb 14 February 1911 vol 21 cc877-8
Mr. NORTON-GRIFFITHS

asked if there is any intention on the part of the Government to allow the House to discuss the points which it is suggested should be laid before the forthcoming Imperial Conference?

The PRIME MINISTER

I do not think that any useful purpose would be served by a general discussion of the kind suggested before the meeting of the Conference.

Mr. NORTON-GRIFFITHS

Will the right hon. Gentleman consider the advisability of appointing a committee to ascertain if there is any other method of bringing about Imperial unity by Imperial representation in Imperial affairs

Mr. SPEAKER

The hon. Gentleman should give notice of that.
