HC Deb 14 February 1911 vol 21 cc884-5
Mr. J. P. FARRELL

asked the Postmaster-General whether any steps have yet been taken to provide a midday service of letters from Granard to Aghnacliffe, in North Longford; whether he is aware that a large and important business with English markets is kept up from this district; and will he direct an inquiry to be made to ascertain the number of districts which could be advantageously served by this delivery?

The POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Mr. Herbert Samuel)

I have called for a report on this subject, and I will communicate the result of the inquiry to the hon. Member.
