HC Deb 13 February 1911 vol 21 c695
Sir HENRY CRAIK

asked when the Scotch Education Department will lay upon the Table the new Scheme for Teachers' Superannuation, provided for under the Education Act of 1908?

Mr. URE

The Draft Scheme was issued by the Department on the 11th instant, and I am having a copy sent to the hon. Member. By the terms of Section 14 (11 and 12) of the Act, three months must now be allowed for receiving objections and amendments to the Draft Scheme. On the expiry of this period, the Department are empowered to deal with any such objections and amendments, and to submit a Scheme to Parliament, and this they propose to accomplish with as little delay as possible.
