EARL of RONALDSHAYasked the Postmaster-General if British postal orders are not negotiable in Australia; and, if so, will he enter into negotiations with the Postmaster-General of the Australian Commonwealth with a view to securing this convenience for the people of the United Kingdom and of Australia?
§ Mr. HERBERT SAMUELBritish postal orders are not, I regret to say, payable at post offices in the Commonwealth of Australia. The Government of the Commonwealth has not yet seen its way to adopt the Imperial postal order system.
