§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Commissioners of National Education inform me that the application of the Most Reverend Dr. Sheehan, Bishop of Waterford and Lismore, was under consideration at their meeting on 24th January, 1911, and they made the following order: "That the Most Reverend Dr. Sheehan be informed that the Commissioners of National Education are unable to accede to his application in any of its forms." It is not intended to publish the report of the chief inspector on this matter.
