HC Deb 09 February 1911 vol 21 cc448-9
Mr. GILL

asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if the Commission appointed to consider the jurisdiction and practice of the Salford Hundred Court of Record has reported; if so, whether such Report will be published; if he can say whether he intends to make alterations in its jurisdiction by exempting all towns, except Manchester and Salford; if not, whether any towns will be exempted; and, if so, the name of each town?

The CHANCELLOR of the DUCHY of LANCASTER (Mr. J. A. Pease)

I hope, early next week, to lay on the Table of the House the Report of the Departmental Committee appointed to consider the practice, procedure, and area of jurisdiction of the Court of Record of the Hundred of Salford, and I am considering the steps I shall take to carry out the recommendations of the Committee.
