HC Deb 09 February 1911 vol 21 c437
Mr. BOTTOMLEY

asked the Prime Minister whether he is now prepared to consider the appointment of a Standing Committee on Estimates, or to extend the functions of the Public Accounts Committee to an examination of the estimates as well as of expenditure?

The PRIME MINISTER

I cannot make any statement at the moment, but my hon. Friend may be sure that the matter is not being lost sight of.
