HC Deb 15 December 1911 vol 32 cc2700-1
Lord ROBERT CECIL

asked the Prime Minister whether he could now see his way to recommend a public inquiry, whether by way of Royal Commission or otherwise, into the applicability of the principle of co-partnership to the principal industries of this country?

The PRIME MINISTER (Mr. Asquith)

My right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade informs me that he is prepared to give instructions for the preparation of a report on profit-sharing and co-partnership schemes. He will be glad to confer with the Noble Lord on any special points in which he is interested.
