HC Deb 14 December 1911 vol 32 c2532
Mr. AGG-GARDNER

asked if appointments to inspectorships and other offices under the National Insurance Bill will be made by nomination alone or as the result of Civil Service examinations?

Sir F. CAWLEY

also asked where, when, and to whom applications for situations under the National Insurance Bill are to be made?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I am laying a White Paper upon the subject, and an announcement will be made in the Press.

Mr. KING

In view of the great number of applications being received by everybody, may I ask whether a special copy of this answer will be sent to every Member of the House?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I hope a copy of the White Paper will be sent to every hon. Member of the House very soon.

Sir F. CAWLEY

When will the White Paper be sent?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I think it will be in the hands of hon. Members either to-night or to-morrow morning.
