HC Deb 14 December 1911 vol 32 c2537
Mr. HODGE

asked whether the bands of the 3rd Dragoon Guards and the Grenadier Guards recently fulfilled a month's engagement at Brighton; whether the men concerned were on furlough; what is the length of furlough allowed per annum; and who performed the duties of these men while they were away?

Colonel SEELY

Inquiries are being made into these cases. As regards furlough, under paragraph 1297 King's Regulations, furloughs are granted at the discretion of the commanding officer.
