HC Deb 22 August 1911 vol 29 c2282
Sir GILBERT PARKER

Is it the intention of the Government to proceed with the Pilotage Bill in the Autumn Session?

The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of TRADE (Mr. Buxton)

I thought I had already stated, and I am glad to have this opportunity of stating, that the Bill was introduced only in order to give the various parties interested an opportunity of considering it, and I shall be very glad to receive representations in regard to it. There is no intention of proceeding with the Bill this Session. We hope to have an opportunity next Session.
