HC Deb 11 April 1911 vol 24 cc217-8
MARQUESS of TULLIBARDINE

asked whether the arrangements made for the transfer of men from the torpedo factory at Woolwich to other Departments of the Ordnance Factories have in certain cases been cancelled, and, if so, why; and whether men will be taken on during the present month in the Department to which they were to have been transferred, and, if so, under what conditions?

Colonel SEELY

Certain men who did not wish to go to Greenock on transfer of the torpedo factory there were informed that they would be transferred to other Departments in the Ordnance Factories, and they will be taken on as work becomes available under the usual conditions governed by Ordnance Factory Regulations.
