HC Deb 11 April 1911 vol 24 cc230-1
Mr. CLYNES

asked the Prime Minister whether his attention has been drawn to the decision of the Law Lords finally excluding from the benefits of the Workmen's Compensation Act thousands of taxi-cab drivers who receive, by way of part wages, a percentage of the cab earnings in place of a fixed salary; and whether he can promise an early amendment of the Act in this and other respects?

The SECRETARY of STATE for the HOME DEPARTMENT (Mr. Churchill)

I would refer the hon. Member to the answer which I gave to a question on the same subject on Thursday last.
