HC Deb 11 April 1911 vol 24 c243
Mr. GEORGE ROBERTS

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture if the land which Mr. W. H. King, of South Beddington, was under a notice to leave from the parish council had yet been let; and, if not, would he use his endeavours to get King retained in possession until Michaelmas, at which time he would take up other land provided by the county council?

Sir E. STRACHEY

For the reasons which I have already indicated, the Board do not see their way to take action in the direction suggested. The parish council have several applicants ready to take possession of the land to be vacated by Mr. King.
