HC Deb 06 April 1911 vol 23 c2436
Mr. BALFOUR

I think the Government have already told us that the business they propose to take on Friday is the Copyright Bill. In case that Bill should be read a second time before the conclusion of business, can the Government say what they will take after it?

Mr. CHURCHILL

The Prime Minister, who is unable to leave his house to-day through indisposition, desires me to say on his behalf that if opportunity offers after the Second Reading of the Copyright Bill, we shall take the Labourers (Ireland) Bill and the Burgh Police (Scotland) Bill.

Mr. JAMES HOPE

May I ask what business will be taken on the Thursday of Easter week? I think the Friday will be a private Members' day.

Mr. CHURCHILL

There will be a Motion for Adjournment on Wednesday of next week.

Mr. JAMES HOPE

I mean the week after.

Mr. CHURCHILL

The Prime Minister will make a statement, I hope, on Monday.

Mr. BARNES

May I ask when the Second Reading of the House Letting Bill will be taken?

Mr. CHURCHILL

The Prime Minister will make a statement on Monday.
