asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he was aware that target practice in Gerrans Bay was a source of personal danger to the fishermen; whether he was aware that a number of nets have been damaged; and what steps he proposed to take to prevent the continuance of the danger and damage?

No complaints have been received at the Admiralty as regards target practice in Gerrans Bay. Enquiry is being made as to the reported damage to nets.
