HC Deb 05 April 1911 vol 23 cc2213-4
Mr. HOARE

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether in view of the experience that has now been gained in the administration of the Children Act and other Acts, he will reconsider the question of the appointment of a stipendiary magistrate for the purpose of dealing with children's cases in the county of London?

Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL

My right hon. Friend has asked me to answer this question. He is advised that the existing arrangements appear to be working satisfactorily, and he does not propose to interfere with them.
