asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will be prepared to co-operate with the Home Secretary in setting up a permanent exhibition of safety appliances in this country, so far as a railway department is concerned?

Mr. BUXTON

The Board of Trade have in their possession no collection of safety appliances or models thereof, but if it is found that the Board of Trade can be of assistance to my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary in connection with, the proposed museum they will be glad to co-operate with him.
