HC Deb 21 May 1910 vol 116 c353
9. Colonel YATE

asked the Secretary of State for India whether, considering that the Government of India is satisfied with the amount of accommodation available for passengers from India to England, he will state exactly what is the number of A, B, and C passages, respectively, reported by the Controller of Passages to have been provided up to date; how many more have been arranged for before the monsoon sets in; and how many more remain to be provided for after that?

Mr. FISHER

The figures asked for by the hon. and gallant Member are not available; but the Controller of Passages notified in April that all A applicants would be provided for by the first week in May,. and all B applicants by the end of that month.
