HC Deb 16 March 1910 vol 15 c359
Mr. LONSDALE

asked what was the number of persons receiving constant police protection and protection by patrols throughout Ireland on 1st February last?

Mr. HAZLETON

I should like to ask, on a point of Order, why the hon. Member for Armagh is allowed to have eight questions on the Paper, whereas I and other Members of this House have more than once been refused more than six oral question on any day?

Mr. SPEAKER

The hon. Member is, I think, mistaken. He could only have been refused if he has had more than eight. The limit is eight.

Mr. BIRRELL

On 1st February last sixty-eight persons were under constant police protection, and 263 under protection by patrols.
