HC Deb 14 March 1910 vol 15 c27
Mr. ARBUTHNOT

asked the President of the Board of Trade if his attention has been called to the fatality on the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway at Townley station, on Sunday, the 6th instant, whereby a woman and child lost their lives; and if he will direct that a footbridge or subway should be constructed so as to prevent the recurrence of such accidents?

Mr. BUXTON

An inquiry into this accident will be held by an inspecting officer of railways, and I will inform the hon. Member of the result.
