HC Deb 30 June 1910 vol 18 c1091
Mr. JOYCE

asked the Chief Secretary whether he could state at what time the estate of D. L. Lyons, of Groom, county Limerick, known as the Bunlickey estate, Mungret, county Limerick, was inspected on behalf of the Estates Commissioners; what progress had been made since to expedite the partition of this land among the people; had applications been received for parcels of this estate; and could he say if this land would be divided in the near future?

Mr. BIRRELL

A preliminary inspection of these lands was made in 1908 but formal proceedings for sale were not instituted until 1909. Applications for parcels of land have been received and will be duly considered when the Estates Commissioners are dealing with the estate. Having regard to its place on the register the Commissioners cannot say when the purchase money will be advanced.
