HC Deb 29 June 1910 vol 18 c954
Mr. DEVLIN

asked whether the right hon. Gentleman's attention has been called to a public meeting of Belfast citizens, held on 12th June, in support of the Blind Aid Bill; and whether, in view of the public sympathy in favour of this measure, the Government will endeavour to facilitate its passage into law?

The PRIME MINISTER

The Government are alive to the importance of the subject, but I am afraid that I cannot undertake to promise facilities for the Bill in question.
