HC Deb 29 June 1910 vol 18 cc927-8
Mr. GOLDMAN

asked the Secretary for Foreign Affairs whether he would grant the return of Accession Oaths in foreign countries which appeared in the name of the hon. Member for Penryn and Falmouth?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

I should deprecate any impression that our own proceedings were in any way dependent upon obtaining a return of this kind, and it would therefore have only an academic interest. It could only be agreed to on this understanding, and in any case the terms in which it is asked for should specify the countries from which it is desired to obtain a return.
