§ The CHANCELLOR Of the EXCHEQUER (Mr. Lloyd George)Since the passing of the Finance (1909–10) Act, 1910, 189 valuers (72 on a permanent and 117 on a temporary basis) have been appointed for Great Britain at an average salary of £318. These appointments are in addition to the already existing Staff of Valuers (sixty-one in number) attached to the Estate Duty Office.
