asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether His Majesty's Ambassador in Washington had been authorised to sign a pecuniary claims' agreement with the Government of the United States; what were the provisions of this agreement; and when Papers would be laid?

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. We are in communication with the United States Government with regard to the publication of the Treaty.
