asked the Secretary to the Treasury if he could now state for the financial year 1909–10 the number of estates paying death duties, the total amount of the duties paid, the total amount of capital whereon those duties were paid, and the average aggregate rate per cent., corporation duty being represented by the annual value upon which the duty was paid in the year; and could he now state for the financial year 1908–9 the total income in which tax was paid, the abatements allowed, life insurance premiums allowed, income, including abatements and life insurance premiums, increase per cent, over the preceding year, net produce of Income Tax, and average virtual rate of tax per cent?
