HC Deb 27 July 1910 vol 19 c2107
Mr. BOTTOMLEY

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether his attention has been called to the fact that ex-Chief Inspector Arrow is writing a series of articles purporting to give details of cases in which he was professionally engaged; whether he is in receipt of a pension; and, if so, whether the publication of such articles has been sanctioned by him?

The UNDER-SECRETARY for the HOME OFFICE (Mr. Masterman)

My right hon. Friend's attention has been drawn to the series of articles in question. The ex-Chief-Inspector is in receipt of a pension from Police Funds. The publication of the articles has not been sanctioned.
