Sub-section (1). A justices' licence shall either—

  1. (a) be signed by the majority of the licensing justices who are present when the licence is granted; or
  2. (b) be sealed or stamped with an official seal or stamp in such form as the licensing justices may direct, the seal or stamp to be affixed in the presence of the licensing justices at their general annual licensing meeting or transfer sessions as the case may be, and verified in each case by the signature of their clerk.

Amendments made: In Sub-section (1), paragraph (b), leave out the words "in the presence" and insert instead thereof the words "under the authority."

In Sub-section (1), paragraph (b), after the word "justices" [" presence of the licensing justices"] insert the word "given."
