HC Deb 12 July 1910 vol 19 c177
Mr. DILLON

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether his attention had been called to the account of the transactions in connection with the raid of Darab Mirza given by Rahim Khan, a Persian officer, who was present and an eye-witness of what took place, and to the fact that this account is wholly inconsistent with and contradictory of the British official account; and whether, under these circumstances, he would make further inquiries and communicate the result to the House?

The SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Sir E. Grey)

I have seen the account which the hon. Member has sent me, but I have since my last reply received a full report from His Majesty's Chargéd'Affaires at Tehran, the substance of which I shall be glad to give, if the hon. Member will put an unstarred question on the Paper.
