HC Deb 11 July 1910 vol 19 c14
Mr. CLOUGH

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture how many acres were contained in the common known as Hunter's Bark or Long Preston Moor, in the Skipton division, in 1899 and 1910, respectively; whether any portion of this common has been enclosed since 1899; and, if so, how many acres have been enclosed, and by whom?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD of AGRICULTURE (Sir E. Strachey)

The Board are informed by the clerk of the Settle rural district council that so far as he can ascertain no person claims or has ever claimed any right of common over the land known as Hunter's Bark and that it appears to be private property which has not previously been enclosed. The Board have no information as to the acreage of the land in question.
