HC Deb 24 February 1910 vol 14 cc352-3
Mr. WALTER LONG

Can the right hon. Gentleman inform the House what is the course of business for next week?

The PRIME MINISTER

Next week we propose to proceed as follows:—

On Monday we shall first take the Motion giving precedence over Private Business to the Government up to and including the 24th of March.

Then we shall have the Money Resolutions in Committee for the Borrowing and War Loans Bills, followed by Civil Service (Supplementary Estimates). It is urgently necessary that this business should be disposed of next week in order to give the largest possible amount of time to the new Army and Navy Bills, which must be included in the Consolidated Fund Bill before Easter.

Mr. WALTER LONG

Will the Motion for taking time on Monday be on the Paper to-morrow?

The PRIME MINISTER

Yes.

Mr. WALTER LONG

And the Supplementary Estimate for the Admiralty?

The PRIME MINISTER

Yes.

Mr. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAIN

Have we got the whole of the Civil Service Supplementary Estimates?

The PRIME MINISTER

I think so; I will inquire.
