§ Mr. BIRRELLThe records of the Estates Commissioners are not kept by Parliamentary Divisions. As regards the first part of the question I would refer the hon. Member to the Return of Untenanted Lands presented to Parliament in 1906 (No. 250 of that year). The Estates Commissioners have made offers for estates comprising 2,460 acres of untenanted land in county Tipperary. They have already acquired 9,720 acres of such land in the county. It would not be in the public interest to give details of the cases in which negotiations are pending.
