asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he can state the total amount of the Naval Estimates of Germany for 1910–11; how much of this amount is devoted to naval construction; and how much of this sum is met by loans, the amount not to include the expenditure on the Kiel Ship Canal and other works of a naval character which are not included in the German Naval Estimates?

The total amount of the German Estimates for 1910–11 is £21,235,091. The amount devoted to new construction is £7,504,401; and the sum met by loan is £5,515,287.
