HC Deb 19 April 1910 vol 16 c1863
Mr. JOHN LYTTELTON

asked whether the Army Council are demanding the return of the £20 uniform grant in the case of officers of the Territorial Army Service Corps who have not attended an initial course of instruction, but have obtained I certificates for the transport and supply courses at a school of instruction; and whether the Army Council will consider the holding of the A and B certificates sufficient qualification for the retaining of the uniform grant, seeing that the Army Service Corps duties are mainly of a technical character, efficiency in which is necessary before the before-mentioned certificates are granted?

Mr. HALDANE

If the hon. Member will give me the details of the particular case or cases to which he refers, I will have inquiry made.
