§ Mr. BIRRELLThe untenanted lands on this estate have not been offered for sale to the Estates Commissioners. Coughlan's application for reinstatement was not lodged within the time prescribed by the Evicted Tenants Act, and cannot be dealt with under that Act.

Gentleman will call on the Estates Commissioners to acquire the lands of Middletown, in the parish of Killashee, county Longford, now for sale, in order to enlarge the uneconomic holdings in this poor district of country, and give the poor farmers a chance of living at home, instead of emigrating, as their sons have nearly all emigrated already?
