HC Deb 12 April 1910 vol 16 c1045
Mr. O'GRADY

asked the Under-Secretary of State for India what number of indentured Indians had been shipped from India to Natal during the past four weeks; and whether the number had been unusually large since the introduction into the India Council of a measure whereby the Government of India may, when they deem necessary, discontinue such emigration?

Mr. MONTAGU

No indentured Indians have embarked for Natal during the past four weeks.
