HC Deb 07 April 1910 vol 16 cc592-3
Mr. JAMES HOPE

I beg to ask the Prime Minister whether he can say what will be the first Parliamentary act of the Government after the Spring Recess? I desire to explain that I use the word "act" in the sense in which it is commonly understood.

The PRIME MINISTER

No, Sir.

Mr. JAMES HOPE

When will the right hon. Gentleman, be able to say?

The PRIME MINISTER

I cannot say yet.

Viscount CASTLEREAGH

asked whether the Bill to be founded on the Veto Resolutions now before the House would be the first business after the Recess; and would this measure have precedence of the Budget for 1910–11?

The PRIME MINISTER

I cannot yet make any statement as to the order of business after the Recess.
